How often do Artist find themselves with paper that has ‘Gone off’ ? The paper has lost its sizing and it absorbs watercolour paint. The paper I use however is of a high quality and it is expensive! So why would I throw it away! I recycle where I can and conductive to the topic here , a young Malawian child living in a country stripped of trees. The population for a long time relied on their fantastic wooden carving to put food on there tables. This photo was taken when I visited Malawi in 1990. I bought beautiful wooden carvings. I brought those with me in the little amount I could bring when we came to the UK in 2001
